The problem of snoring during sleep is relevant for many people.

According to doctors, snoring is a normal human condition. More than 20% of women and about 45% of the male population suffer from snoring. Children are affected in 10% of cases.

However, with age, snoring begins to progress, becoming louder and more intense. And finally, there comes a time when a person snores so loudly that it bothers others, and even wakes up from his own snoring.

How to deal with snoring? What do we have to do?

Today we will talk about the methods of treating snoring that traditional medicine offers, and touch on the modern aspects of the treatment of snoring.

First, let's look at the causes of snoring. There are only four of them:

Traditional medicine advises :

One hour before each meal, you need to eat 1-2 pieces of medium-sized boiled carrots.

  • Infusion of cabbage juice and honey.

Mix a glass of cabbage juice with 1 tablespoon of honey. Drink before bedtime for a month.

Take equal amounts of herbs: burdock, black elderberry, horsetail, as well as the roots of the cinquefoil. Mix everything. For 1 liter of boiling water, put 1 tablespoon of a mixture of herbs. Insist 1 hour. Take 5 times a day, 1 tablespoon until the snoring stops completely.

Instill 3 drops of oil in each nostril at night.

For treatment, consume 1 glass of red wine (approximately 100-150 g).

1 tablespoon of oak bark and calendula flowers are insisted in 2 glasses of boiled water, for this, the herbs are poured with boiling water, and then cooled and allowed to stand for 3 hours in a sealed container. Gargle after every meal and before bed.

Before going to bed, set fire to an aroma lamp with chamomile, mint, lavender or lemon balm. You can rub a cream with the addition of the indicated essential oils into the bridge of the nose.

Try to sleep on your side. If it does not work right away, then sew a pocket on the back of a nightgown, and put an ordinary tennis ball there, or another object that will interfere with sleep on the back.

Snoring exercises:

  • Jaw movement back and forth. Daily 30 times.
  • Pronounce the sound “I”, while straining the jaw. 30 times.
  • Twice a day, 50 times strongly stick your tongue in front of the mirror.
  • Hold a wooden or plastic spoon tightly with your teeth and hold for 2-3 minutes. After performing the exercise correctly, the muscles of the jaw should begin to ache.
