1 Removal of age spots

Especially dangerous are drugs that contain strong chemicals. A chemical burn of the skin may occur, and the original problem will worsen at times.  

Also, do not independently select and use professional cosmetics. In the store you can find many products, the labels of which indicate that they can be used to get rid of age spots. But even creams and serums should be used with caution. They should not be applied just before sun exposure, and it is important to always use a face cream with SPF 50 during the course.

2 Lightening hair

By coloring your hair yourself, you can prepare the composition incorrectly, apply it unevenly to your hair, and not withstand the right amount of time. As a result, the color will turn out completely different from what you expected. If you use paint from brands in the affordable segment, it is likely that it contains a large percentage of hydrogen peroxide. This component negatively affects the condition of the hair. After staining, they may become brittle, begin to fall out or split. 

3 Facial massage

During this procedure, it is important to consider the location of the muscles on the face. Not all girls have this knowledge and make movements that not only do not relax the muscles, but also make them tense. This can lead to premature formation of wrinkles and stretching of the skin, reducing elasticity. 

4 Hair removal with sugar or wax

Cosmetologists do not advise trying to perform this procedure on your own. It takes skill to get it right. Otherwise, bruises, bruises, ingrown hairs may appear.

5 Dermoroller mesotherapy

A dermaroller is a device similar to a drum with many needles, with which the integrity of the skin is violated. This is necessary in order to then apply the drug – so it will better penetrate the skin.

The length of the needles determines how deeply the skin is broken. You can press lightly, that is, perforate the stratum corneum and increase microcirculation, or you can pierce up to the dermis, when drops of blood appear on the surface of the skin. These procedures require sterile conditions.

It is very important which drug is applied for further penetration into the layers of the epidermis. As a rule, these are sterile solutions. If you perform this procedure yourself, there is a risk of unpredictable complications.

The dermaroller must be of high quality: it is important that the needles are made of a special alloy and securely fastened. Therefore, it is better to entrust the choice of a safe device and the implementation of the procedure to a professional cosmetologist.

6 Chemical peels

It is also dangerous to carry them out on your own, especially when it comes to professional preparations with a high percentage of acids and a fairly low pH. There is a risk of getting a chemical burn with subsequent complications in the form of hyperpigmentation, persistent redness and dilated blood vessels, infection, and even scarring. 

For professional chemical peeling, the skin must be prepared in advance, assessing its condition and ability to recover.

7 Facial cleansing

Even if you followed all the rules of asepsis and antisepsis, it is not a fact that the procedure was carried out correctly. By cleaning yourself, you may not remove items correctly. As a result, abrasions, long-term non-healing wounds, spots appear, inflammation increases. There is also a risk of a “breakthrough" of a purulent element not outward, but inward, which entails serious consequences up to sepsis.
