Downturned corners of the eyes can give the face a slightly sad or tired look. Therefore, makeup should be aimed at making the look more open and visually align the section of the eyes. The emphasis should be directed, first of all, to the upper eyelid. You need to be careful with the lower eyelid, as dark colors optically pull the eye down and enhance the undesirable effect.
Eye makeup with a lowered outer corner has its own characteristics. First, you need to understand how much the outer corner is lower than the inner one. To do this, draw a line that will run from the bridge of the nose through the inner corners of the eyes to the outer ones, and look at what level the outer corner of the eye is. If it is below this line, then it is worth using makeup techniques with lowered corners of the eyes. CONCEALER So that the shadows under the eyes do not pull down, they should be hidden as best as possible. To do this, use a concealer. And be sure to include a moisturizing eye cream and patches in your routine to keep your delicate skin healthy and even-toned. SHADOWS When applying shadows for the inner corner of the eye, choose light shades, for the outer – dark. Draw an arrow with shadows or a pencil. Take, for example, black, dark gray or dark brown, which you can then blend and create a gradient from dark to lighter. When making up the lower eyelid, apply shadows from the center of the eyelid to the inner corner. It is not necessary to touch the outer corner of the eye in order to visually hide this feature again. A light highlight should be applied to the inner corner of the eye, but not in the usual way – on the upper eyelid, but on the lower one. This will also visually balance the horizontal corners of the eyes. LINER AND PENCILWhen drawing an arrow, you need to start its take-off not from the very tip of the outer corner, but a little earlier, that is, visually we shift the corner of the eye by a few millimeters. You can also paint over the mucous membrane from the side of the outer corner of the eye, but not over the entire surface, but only from the point of elevation to the outer corner of the eye. That is, you need to step back from the center of the eyelid a few millimeters and from the place where the eye section rises, and draw the mucous membrane with a dark kayal to the tip. Fashionable thing: why you might need eyebrow soap Mascara and eyelashes For eyelashes, I recommend choosing a voluminous mascara and, when staining, pay more attention to the volume in the center of the eye. The outer corner should not be actively painted over, and when applied to the lower eyelashes, paint over only the cilia in the center of the eye – do not touch in the corners. To enhance the effect, you can use false, beam eyelashes. Try placing size 12 eyelashes in the center of your eyes, stepping back a little – size 14, and then again size 12. Place size 10 lashes on the outer corner of the eye. This will also visually lift the outer corner of the eye. Such techniques will help to camouflage the lowered corners of the eyes and make the facial expression more open and joyful.
