The second season is slightly inferior in dynamics to the first, but this is an expected result, given how masterpiece the first eight episodes were. The show is still insanely fascinating with plot twists. Killing Eve is like an adrenaline rush not only for the spy drama genre, but for all British TV.

Black Mirror

For cynics and nihilists, the name of the creator of “Black Mirror”, Charlie Brooker, has long become familiar. Brooker made his way into the mainstream by doing what he had been doing his entire life: criticizing reality with black humor and biting satire on shows like Screenwipe, but this time he had a little more money. This anthology has become the most talked about British show in years.

It was as if Black Mirror was destined for high marks from critics, a fan cult and a line of stars from Jodie Foster to Miley Cyrus – everyone wants to touch the endlessly ambitious project. Despite the tough concept, this show can be classic sci-fi, horror, social satire, or soul drama. But most importantly, Brooker managed to make Black Mirror incredibly thoughtful.
