With age, the face changes, traces of past years, events and emotions appear on it. But at the same time, we still want to look attractive. We will learn from an expert how to smooth out negative features and highlight positive ones, taking into account the nuances of aging skin.
For age-related makeup, it is necessary to take into account the preparatory stage, namely moisturizing the skin. Before you start applying cosmetics, use moisturizers or serums that are most comfortable for you. A cream that says “can be used as a base" is also suitable, but this is not a base for decorative cosmetics, but a skin care product.
Foundation
To correct wrinkles and even out the tone, a makeup base that contains silicones is better suited. Such a tool can physically fill wrinkles. That is, to make the skin smooth not only visually, but also in fact. If you don't like such bases – they just don’t feel comfortable, take a product with reflective particles. It will create a lifting effect. The skin will look smoother and more even due to the refraction of light on the reflective particles. At the age of 60+, it is not recommended to use powder, as it clogs into skin roughness and emphasizes wrinkles, which we would like to avoid. You can use translucent (transparent) powder, which will help set makeup, but will not emphasize wrinkles and will not clog into wrinkles. Of foundation creams, it is better to use a fluid, that is, a translucent coating, which will lie down easily and again will not emphasize the flaws that we would like to hide. Foundations with reflective particles are perfect, you can also use BB creams, or CC creams. They are able to adapt to the color of the skin and, as a rule, have a fairly light texture.
Eye and eyebrow makeup
In age makeup, you should not use bright shades. It is better to give preference to natural and natural. Any palette of shades of brown, gray or milky shades is perfect for this. If you still prefer arrows in makeup, then I suggest using gray, brown, blue, but not resorting to black. And make arrows not with eyeliner, but rather with a pencil, or with shadows and slightly shade them so that there are no clear, sharp lines in the makeup. To emphasize the shape of the eyebrows, I also suggest using not pencils, but shadow palettes, or styling gel if your eyebrows are naturally dark.
Lip makeup
When choosing lipstick, pay attention to satin lipsticks, because matte ones tend to get into wrinkles and dry out the skin. Lipsticks with mother-of-pearl also gradually roll off during the day, and mother-of-pearl remains in wrinkles. Therefore, it is better to choose a product with a moisturizing effect. Paints with a delicate color: what lipsticks will help take care of your lips wrinkles. Prefer warm natural shades – peach, coral, soft pink, caramel brown.
