Plasmolifting of the face is a popular non-surgical method of skin rejuvenation, which many women dream of.
What is skin plasmolifting
The essence of the method is the use of specially prepared plasma, which is isolated directly from human blood. This substance, administered orally, contributes to the rapid and enhanced production of hyaluronic acid, the production of stem cells and the acceleration of the regeneration process. This is possible due to the fact that plasma has a high content of platelets, stimulates cell division, saturates with oxygen, normalizes water balance, and activates metabolism. The plasmolifting technique is aimed at eliminating or correcting the existing shortcomings of the epidermis.
Main indications:
- vascular networks;
- photoaging of the skin;
- "crow's feet" in the corners of the eyes;
- wrinkles (both age-related and mimic);
- pathology of the dermis (acne, psoriasis);
- too pronounced pigmentation of the skin.
Plasmolifting for acne can be an effective way to fix a problem when no other methods just work.
The plasma facial procedure does not give an immediate effect. It should take about six months before you see the result:
- alignment of the tone and relief of the skin;
- skin rejuvenation;
- disappearance of folds and mimic wrinkles;
- lifting the oval of the face;
- acquisition of a clear contour;
- slowing down the aging process;
- disappearance of pigmentation, tightness.
Although you have to wait a long time, but you can get 10-15 years younger. The effect lasts up to 2 years, subject to the full completion of the course. The procedure can be performed from the age of 20, although it all depends on individual indications.
Advantages of plasmolifting in cosmetology
There are many positive aspects to using this technique:
- Rejuvenating action aimed at the cells from the inside.
- Almost zero risk of side effects in the form of rejection of active components or an allergic reaction.
- The absence of foreign cells and other donor components.
- Use of personal biomaterial of the applicant.
- Persistent effect.
- Stimulation of metabolic processes in the body.
As you can see, the procedure has many advantages.
Disadvantages of plasmolifting for the face
But even in this case, it was not without negative sides:
- Although minimal, but still the risk of infection due to a violation of the integrity of the skin.
- More or less pronounced pain (but with increased sensitivity, local anesthesia may be used).
- The possibility of activating viruses that are still dormant in the blood.
- The inability to immediately see the result. You have to wait a few weeks.
- Decent cost (if it can be called a contraindication). But the procedure cannot be cheap. Therefore, too low a price should, on the contrary, alert.
Not without a decent list of contraindications:
- chronic diseases (moreover, both in the acute phase and in remission);
- problems with blood glucose levels;
- autoimmune pathologies;
- infections;
- oncology (including even cancers in the next of kin);
- hemophilia, poor blood clotting;
- hepatitis;
- pregnancy and HB;
- mental disorders, epilepsy.
Plasmolifting with rosacea is possible, but beforehand it is advised to carry out a procedure to remove blood vessels and be treated before the session. This will take about a month. Otherwise, injury with a needle can provoke the appearance of numerous extensive bruises.
Bruises or small bruises may form at the puncture sites. This is normal, but all such symptoms should disappear within 3 days
Stages of the plasmolifting procedure
The procedure can only be done in cosmetology clinics, as expensive medical equipment is required.
Before the session (about 3 days before the visit to the doctor), you need to stop taking medications, do not drink alcohol, do not smoke, drink more water, minimize physical activity, and exclude junk food. Do not schedule a session during your period. Do not eat anything 3 hours before the procedure.
The sequence of steps:
- Preparatory. Delivery of blood tests. Collection of 15–20 ml of venous blood for the production of therapeutic plasma.
- Plasma manufacturing process (performed in the personal presence of the patient). The duration of the stage is a quarter of an hour. It is strictly forbidden to transport, store or freeze the biomaterial.
- Injection. The procedure is an injection into the inner layers of the skin using a syringe with a thin needle. The session lasts from 20 minutes to an hour.
After a visit to the doctor, you should not be exposed to open sunlight. It is advisable to repeat the sessions several times with an interval of 3-4 weeks. Often the course includes 5-6 trips to the beautician.
Many are interested in whether plasmolifting is dangerous. It all depends on the characteristics of the state of health, the absence of contraindications, the qualifications of the doctor and the fulfillment of all requirements. It is necessary to carefully think over everything and take a responsible attitude to the choice of a clinic and a specialist. Experts say that plasmolifting is an excellent alternative to contouring, besides, the client's plasma is used for injections, and not a synthetic drug, which may not yet be suitable. Also, this technique can be combined with any other, which has a longer-term effect.
