Young blood: Tom Walker is the new creative director of Givenchy Makeup

French luxury brand Givenchy is starting a new chapter in the cosmetics department with a new creative director who plans to refresh the range of products and implement many creative ideas.

Over the past two decades, Nicolas Degennes has been responsible for the creation of decorative cosmetics for the Givenchy brand. He designed collection concepts, selected trendy color schemes and led the development of innovative formulas for which Givenchy Makeup is famous.

In May 2021, it became known that Nicolas Degenne was leaving the post of creative director, and today representatives of the brand announced that British celebrity makeup artist Tom Walker will now take over his duties.

Tom Walker has gained wide popularity in the fashion world thanks to unusual combinations, play on contrasts, color blocks, as well as love for reflective elements in makeup.

Walker has worked for iD, AnOther, W Magazine and Dazed and Confused, as well as Vogue. He has done collaborative projects with photographers such as Nick Knight, Paolo Roversi and Solve Sundsbo, and has also worked with actresses and singers such as Emma Watson, Claire Foy and many others.

In his new position, Tom will lead the launch of new products and will be involved in the development of advertising campaigns and projects related to Givenchy Makeup.
