Every housewife faces the problem of yellow spots on clothes under the arms.

These are sweat stains. And they are difficult to hatch.

Sweat stains have been familiar to people since ancient times, which made it possible to accumulate enough experience to deal with them.

This article will walk you through all sorts of ways to remove sweat stains from clothing.

Removing sweat stains from white clothes

It is aggressive with sweat stains, but is safe for clothing. Soak the entire shirt or separately the stains in water to which hydrogen peroxide has been added (1 tablespoon per 1 liter), soaking time -30 minutes. Next, the thing is sent to the drum of the washing machine. You can also dilute the hydrogen peroxide in a container of warm water, then soak your clothes in it for 30 minutes and dry when finished.

For use, you should prepare a paste – mix 4 tablespoons of powder with a quarter of a glass of water, stirring the mixture to a state of gruel. This gruel should be used to cover sweat spots on things and leave in this state for 60-90 minutes. When time has passed, the clothes are washed as usual in the washing machine and then dried at room temperature.

This bleach is also effective in removing sweat stains.

Mix the persal with water (one teaspoon per glass of water), after which, using a brush – you can take an old toothbrush – rub the resulting solution into the stain with gentle circular movements. Next, the treated clothes should be left to soak for 60-90 minutes, after which they should be washed and dried as usual.

Ordinary table salt will help out if there is nothing else at hand.

It is enough to dilute a small (tablespoon) amount of salt in a glass of water and rinse the sweat stains with the prepared solution. When 2-3 hours have passed after processing, the clothes are wrung out and washed as usual.

 We mix vodka or vinegar (of your choice) with water (1: 1), spray the desired areas of clothing, wash according to the usual scheme.

Before removing yellow spots from sweat, you should dilute the salt in alcohol in equal proportions, and then pour the resulting composition into water. The solution, stirred to a homogeneous state, is applied to sweat stains, the clothes are kept in this state for 30 minutes, after which they are washed.

We mix the product with water (1 h / l per 1 glass), apply to areas of clothing with stains, leave for 2 hours. Then we erase in the usual way.

Mix warm water and aspirin (1/2 cup for 2 pre-crushed tablets). Moisten the stains with this solution, leave for 2-3 hours. Wash off the aspirin, wash as usual. If the stains are not removed, dilute the aspirin to a thick gruel (instead of ½ glass of water – a few drops), apply on the stains, wait another hour, then wash the thing.

Take a teaspoon of citric acid and dilute it in a glass of water. Soak a cotton swab in the solution and gently soak yellow stains on your clothes. Let the citric acid soak in for half an hour, then wash the item in the washing machine.

10 Laundry soap + oxalic acid. Lather the brush with laundry soap, rub the stains, leave for half an hour, wash. Next, we wipe the fabric in the areas with stains with a solution of oxalic acid (per glass – 1 tsp), rinse off after 10 minutes, wash.

11 Nashatyr and denaturate.

Mix in a 1 to 1 ratio (1 tsp / l), apply to fabric, wash after half an hour.

You can mix denatured alcohol with yolk, repeat the procedure in the same sequence.

12 Boiling.

The method is suitable for cotton clothes and linen. Grate laundry soap on a fine grater (1/2 cup), pour into a metal bucket, boil clothes until completely bleached – after boiling for 3-4 hours over low heat, stirring constantly. “

Wash sweat stains from black clothes

Very suitable for removing sweat from woolen garments. It is enough just to foam the soap with high acidity (more than 70%) in warm water, rub the stains on black clothes with it, soak the clothes for 60-90 minutes, then squeeze and wash in the machine.

  1. Table salt + ammonia.

Suitable for cotton fabrics and flax. Mix salt with warm water (1 tsp per glass) and ammonia (1 tsp), apply on stains, wait 15 minutes, rinse or wash.

It has a gentle effect on silk if the clothes are first soaked in warm water, then treated with a solution of salt in water and washed on a delicate cycle. Both soaks should not exceed 10 minutes each to avoid damaging the fabric.

Old sweat stains? We wash it off!

  1. Aspirin + Hydrogen Peroxide

A mixture of a teaspoon of water and two crushed aspirin tablets is applied to the previously soaked item, after which it is returned to the water with bleach for 3 hours. After this time, the garment is lightly washed. Separately mixed water with hydrogen peroxide (proportion 10: 1). The resulting solution moistens the stains. Another 10 minutes and the clothes can be washed. Time consuming but reliable way to get rid of stains.

Removing streaks in this way is not as difficult as in the previous version, but no less effective. The first stage is the preparation of vinegar water for soaking. 2 tbsp. l. vinegar is diluted in five liters of water. Before soaking, the stains are rubbed with a gruel of soda (4 tablespoons) and water (1 glass). The item is left on for one hour, after which it is washed in the usual way.

There is another way to remove sweat stains from dyed woolen items, especially if they are old sweat stains. The mixture for removal is as follows – gasoline or acetone, denatured alcohol and ammonia are taken in the following proportion – 3: 4: 2. The actions are the same as with other fabrics. Be sure to wash and rinse the thing after using the recipe.

And another interesting remedy is chicken egg white.

Break the egg, separate the yolk from the protein. Pour the yolk into any glass or china container and shake well. Apply the resulting mixture to the contaminated surface. Allow to dry and, using a clean knife, not with a sharp edge, clean the fabric from the egg mixture. Rinse in cool water. Remove the remnants of dirty marks on clothes with glycerin, pre-heating it to 20 degrees.
