How to get rid of grass stains on clothes?

One of the most difficult stains to remove is grass stains on clothing. How to get rid of them?

There are several ways to remove grass stains:

Thoroughly lather the contaminated area with laundry soap and leave the item for 15 minutes. during this time you can watch your favorite TV series. after which, diligently rub and wash the thing in hot water. You need to repeat the procedure until the stain disappears completely.

The stain or stains from the grass must be abundantly moistened on dry with a special solution (a glass of warm water + 1 teaspoon of ammonia), or wiped several times with a gauze swab dipped in the solution. After a while, lather with plenty of laundry soap, let it sit for about an hour and wash. Can be repeated several times, and then washed in the washing machine according to the usual program for this type of clothes.

You can also wash clothes stained with grass using denatured alcohol. Dip a cotton swab in denatured alcohol, and then scrub the stain until the grass is gone. You can change the cotton swab as needed.

Salicylic alcohol is not found in every home. However, if you have it all at hand, then you can apply this method as well. As usual, use a cotton swab soaked in alcohol to treat the stain, wait for a while, and rinse the fabric.

In some cases, it is effective to abundantly moisten or wipe the grass stain with a swab several times with vinegar (of course, not fruit, but white and transparent 6 or 9 percent) or a solution of citric acid. The thing should be left for an hour, and then rinsed with water and washed.

Oxalic acid and wine vinegar are stirred in a spoonful of water. The stains are moistened with this solution and kept for half an hour. Then the stains are thoroughly washed in running water, and the item is washed off immediately.

You can also try using toothpaste to remove the grass stain. However, one condition is that it should not contain any additives. To apply, apply a small amount of the paste to the stain and scrub with a brush.

Another proven method is to treat the stain with a cotton swab dipped in a strong saline solution, or simply rub the stained area with salt.

Feel free to apply hydrogen peroxide to white clothes. This substance brightens fibers and removes stains.

Also for white clothes. Dilute a teaspoon of bleach with 250 ml of water and apply to the dirt. Also add liquid during washing.

The baking soda needs to be diluted with water to form a gruel. Then apply this consistency to the stains and leave to saturate the stain for 15 minutes. After that, walk over the dirty area with a brush and rub off the product.

Four teaspoons of the acid are diluted in a glass of water. The resulting solution is used to treat contaminated areas. After a while, the thing is washed. Lemon juice can be used in the same way.

For delicate fabrics (wool and silk), for which too aggressive products are simply not applicable, you can use the following special mixture. Mix the two ingredients until smooth and apply evenly over the stain. After 60 minutes, rinse the fabric thoroughly and wash.

1. Dishwashing detergents.

If there is nothing at hand, and the stains need to be removed urgently, use the existing dishwashing detergent. Apply a few drops to the brush and rub the stain with it until the result is achieved.
