Blood is taken from the patient's vein and can be administered to him both intramuscularly and subcutaneously. This therapy has been known for a long time, but it does not lose its relevance in our time.

Her method is good both for its safety and effectiveness – the introduction of venous blood into the muscles or under the skin of the patient is aimed at stimulating the body's own forces. Therefore, this method of dealing with ailments is considered a natural remedy.

Autohemotherapy is carried out in sterile conditions and in a specialized medical institution, otherwise there is a risk of getting more harm from it than good. You can use it at home only with the participation of a doctor or nurse. For all its effectiveness, this therapy also has contraindications and side effects.

Features of autohemotherapy and indications

The range of its useful application is wide – from strengthening the immune system to accelerating the healing of fractures. The most common procedure, which is considered classical, is the introduction of pure venous blood to the patient.

Blood is taken from the veins of the upper extremities, after which it is immediately injected to avoid clotting. It is administered subcutaneously or intramuscularly, most often in the upper part of the buttocks.

According to the standard scheme, 2 ml of blood is injected into the body during the first procedure, and every few days its volume increases by another 2 ml. These injections are made until the volume of the dose reaches 10 ml.

In addition to the classic autohemotherapy procedure, there are other variations:

Stepwise, the essence of which is to dilute the blood taken from the patient with various drugs, depending on the reasons for his appeal to autohemotherapy. For example, in diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, anti-inflammatory drugs are added to the blood, and in case of intoxication and purulent diseases, the blood is mixed with adsorbents. The entire mixture is administered to the patient at a time, in one session. This is usually done in the thigh area.

biopuncture method. When using it, the patient's biological fluid should be injected with an emphasis not on the muscles or skin, but on those reflexogenic zones that are used in acupuncture. For example, to get rid of infectious diseases of the respiratory organs, injections are made at points on the palms. Against epilepsy, injections are made in the area of the foot.

Mixing blood with ozone. This method is aimed at increasing the beneficial properties and achieving the best therapeutic effect from the procedure. It is often used to treat skin rashes and gynecological diseases in women. The introduction of blood with ozone well stimulates the immune system.

Blood transfusion with potassium gluconate. It is used in dermatology to eliminate skin problems. To avoid convulsions, the dose should be selected only by the attending physician.

As a rule, the course of treatment includes 10-15 injections. The duration of autohemotherapy depends on the patient's problem and is determined by the doctor. This is also affected by the degree of neglect of the problem. The volume of blood injected at a time and the number of injections are individual for each case and are selected only by a specialist.

It is undesirable to resort to autohemotherapy procedures more than twice a year. In some cases, the therapist may recommend its repetitions for every three months.

Application in pediatrics

Autohemotherapy is prescribed for children very rarely. It is advisable only when other methods of treatment do not have the proper effect on the immune system. To get rid of teenage acne, only children under the age of 14 are allowed to this procedure with the mandatory permission of their parents.

For children, the scheme of this therapy has some differences. It begins with a blood transfusion of not 2 ml, as in adults, but 1 ml. Gradually, the intake and administration of blood is increased to 5 ml per injection, and then gradually reduced to the original 1 ml.

Breaks between injections – from 2 to 3 days. For children, treatment is only acceptable according to the classical scheme of autohemotherapy, that is, without mixing blood with additional drugs, since side effects are more common in children due to their use.

Side effects

When the procedure is performed according to all the rules, side effects are practically excluded or hardly noticeable. Because of them, I gained extra pounds, but this is not so bad. Gradually, the whole body, from the face to the back, was filled with blackheads. I took immunostimulants, antibiotics, natural herbs … I can't say that all this did not help, but usually as soon as I finished taking the next medicine, acne appeared again.

So all this would have continued indefinitely, but one cosmetologist suggested autohemotherapy to me. Since then, skin problems have become noticeably less, in addition, the general condition of the body has improved. I don’t know how durable this effect is, but the year and a half that it lasts in my case is already a good result for me.

Alina, 41 years old

I decided to try autohemotherapy in order to improve the condition of the skin, but I almost did not notice the effect. The doctor reassures me, saying that noticeable results will be in a month. I don’t know what’s the matter, maybe it really takes time, or maybe this method doesn’t suit me.

Elvira, 32 years old

The face after a course of autohemotherapy became noticeably better. A pleasant surprise was that I intended to use it only to get rid of blackheads, but along with this, my hair condition improved.

In general, I am satisfied, the only problem I have with allergies is that if I eat something forbidden for my body, then rashes begin. But they have been before. I think that this problem needs to be solved with a separate course of autohemotherapy aimed at this, so I will probably go again next year, only now with the intention of getting rid of the allergy.

Anna, 39 years old

Post source: salon.kr.ua

Autohemotherapy is a medical procedure based on the science of treating diseases by injecting a person with their own blood.
