On June 23, a critically acclaimed list of “The 100 Greatest Novels of All Time” appeared on the British newspaper's website. Our news feeds were immediately full of headlines that Tolstoy's “Anna Karenina” was in third place, and that several other Russian classics were mentioned somewhere in the middle.<\/p>\n
I think that this fragmentary information will not be enough for a real book lover, because we love book lists so much.
\nThat is why I have translated the original list for you. The genres there are very different, the books are really good, except that one can argue about their distribution.<\/p>\n
