And with it frosts, thaws, snowfalls.

And again this unpleasant word sounds – ice. And with it the injury rate of our population increases. Therefore, road transport services are forced to sprinkle roads with special chemicals.

To date, there are the following anti-icing agents.

– modified calcium chloride (CCM), containing a corrosion inhibitor,

-Ammonium acetate modified “Antisneg” -1

– potassium acetate modified “Nordix-P” (are salts or esters of acetic acid).

– calcium chloride, inhibited by phosphates (CCF),

-Ismelt (HKNM),

– magnesium chloride modified “Biomag”

– calcium, magnesium, urea nitrate (NKMM), technical salt – NaCl.

Such mixtures are good for saving when it is very slippery outside, but after that, ugly stains appear on the shoes.

How to get rid of traces of reagents on shoes?

Immediately after walking, it is recommended to wipe leather shoes with a damp cloth and wipe dry.

If streaks appear, try to remove them with:

In 1 liter of water, dilute 1 tablespoon of 70% vinegar.

The cotton pad is moistened and the surface of the shoe is treated, not missing the seams and joints.

Perfectly removes streaks. Add a little liquid soap (desirable for children) and a few drops of ammonia to the water. The solution is foamed and the boots are treated with a sponge. Deals well with stains and dishwashing detergent.

Heavily soiled nubuck or suede shoes are held over steam, cleaned with a brush, held over steam again. Do this until all dirt is completely removed, after which the boots are thoroughly dried, combed with a special brush designed to care for this type of material, and treated with special means.

Rye bread.
