In 1977, the Apple I was replaced by its modified model, called the Apple II<\/strong>. This computer was already produced on a serial scale. Steve Jobs rethought the design of the Apple II, making it suitable for both the home and the office. Apple II in 1977 acquired color graphics on the display and 48 kilobytes of RAM (at that time it was well, a lot Apple II computer<\/p>\n The Apple II computer was actively improved, and was produced right up to the end of the 1980s. Millions of these machines have been sold.<\/p>\n It seems that even now no one fully understands why the company was named Apple. Hardly anyone associates computers with an apple. The history of the appearance of such an unusual brand symbol has become overgrown with myths and legends. Because in the summer of 1975, Steve Jobs worked on an apple farm? Or is it his love for the Beatles (their recording studio was called Apple Records)? Or he just liked Macintosh apples.<\/p>\n Few people know, but in 1976 Apple had a different logo. It depicted Newton resting under an apple tree. Such a brand name did not look stylish at all and was not suitable for use in small sizes. If you look at the instructions for Apple I (the very first computer of the company), then you can see this very complex logo.<\/p>\n So why does Apple have a bitten apple – their logo? The answer to the question goes back to 1976, when the brand was first born. Anyone with the slightest interest in modern technology knows that Apple was founded by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. In fact, the company had three, not two, as is commonly believed, founders – Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and the lesser-known Ron Wayne. The latter gave up his stake in the company less than two weeks after its creation. Now Ron admits that even then he saw a successful future for the young company, but he does not regret his choice. And if he had the opportunity to change his mind, he would have done the same.<\/p>\n The reason for refusing a 10% stake in a promising company lies in Ron's negative past experience and his unwillingness to take risks. At the very beginning of the journey, Apple received an order for 50 computers. In order to collect them, it was required to borrow $ 15,000. Wayne had heard that the ordering company was notorious for having difficulty paying suppliers. Being already elderly (43 years old), Ron did not want to risk getting involved in deals with the possibility of losing all his property. Unlike both Steves, he had his own house and car.<\/p>\n It was Ron Wayne who, at the beginning of the founding of the company, drew the first trademark – the image of the genius Isaac Newton reading a book under an apple tree.<\/p>\n The logo appeared shortly before the release of the Apple II. The history of its origin began in April 1977. Steve Jobs reached out to Rob Yanov, a middle-aged designer at Regis McKenna Advertising. At that time, many people predicted that the company would fail if they keep the old logo. He was too intelligent and not suitable for portraying him in small sizes. According to Michael Morritz, author of The Little Kingdom: A Private History of Apple Computer, Steve Jobs did believe that the logo could be one of the reasons for the poor sales of Apple I. Intrigued, Rob spent several days looking at apples from different angles from a nearby store. … As a result, the designer came to the conclusion that simplicity is the key to success and drew the logo in the form of a monochrome bitten apple.<\/p>\n Jobs liked the idea, but he insisted that the logo be colored, despite all the attempts of the head of the advertising company to dissuade him because of too high costs for printing. The challenge was to print it in several colors next to each other. The four multi-stage color printing technologies known at the time left the risk that the layers might be misaligned and overlapped. Yanov suggested separating the layers with thin black lines. This would solve the problem and make printing cheaper. However, Steve Jobs firmly decided – the logo should be without stripes. For this reason, Michael M. Scott of Apple called it “the most damn expensive logo ever created.”<\/p>\n It is noteworthy that Rob Yanov did not receive a dime for his legendary work. “They didn't even send postcards,” he said in an interview. Steve Jobs developed an excellent relationship with Silicon Valley's chief marketer, and he allowed the growing company to use the services of his subordinates for free.<\/p>\n Few know about Steve Jobs' love for Alan Turing's contribution to science, but the English scientist was indeed the real idol of the eternally living soul of Apple.<\/p>\n Most likely, you have not even heard this name, but it is this brilliant scientist in the scientific community that is considered the father of not only mathematics, but also artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n In 1954, Turing committed suicide by biting an apple<\/strong>, which he himself pumped with cyanide – this is the official version of the cause of his death.<\/p>\n Some believe that mathematics was actually poisoned, but this does not seem plausible, because at that time the scientist was not considered great due to his unconventional sexual orientation.<\/p>\n It was Alan's unconventional inclinations that caused the mystery that hung over the Apple logo. Steve Jobs honored the scientist's memory with the help of a symbolically bitten apple, which he even painted in the rainbow colors of global tolerance, but he could not reveal his tribute to the world for business reasons.<\/p>\n Jobs understood perfectly well that he did not want to create a local company that would work only for the United States and a couple of neighboring countries. He planned to lead a global manufacturer and enter other promising markets that might not be as tolerant as the American one.<\/p>\n For example, Chinese is still considered one of the most desirable markets in the world, and in this country it is against unconventional sexual relations. Russia, Eastern Europe and other countries with their views on life in this matter also cannot be written off.<\/p>\n Precisely out of fear that Apple would be misunderstood, in 1998 the company changed the logo to a less defiant one, and in 1999 came up with an actual neutral version that still remains without a piece.<\/p>\n Alan was born in India in 1912. Like all geniuses, he was an unusual child. Since childhood, he had only mathematics in his head, but his parents tried to develop him comprehensively, so they moved to the UK and sent him to a liberal arts school.<\/p>\n At 13, Turing baffled teachers by solving in his mind the most difficult problems of mathematics, which he had not even been taught. At school, he was considered almost the worst student, and in the testimonial after graduation, the director sarcastically emphasized:<\/p>\n “He will undoubtedly become a real problem in the community.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n At 23, Alan already defended his doctoral dissertation in mathematics, and later developed the theory of logical computing machines, which will become an obligatory part of the curriculum of cybernetics.<\/p>\n The further fate of the mathematician is coolly shown in the film “The Imitation Game”, which won the main award at the Toronto Film Festival in 2014.<\/p>\n The main role was played by Benedict Cumberbatch<\/strong>, whom you know for sure from Holmes's extraordinary image in the TV series “Sherlock” and the superhero role in Doctor Strange.<\/p>\n The film turned out to be quite believable from a historical point of view, and you can still watch it at least because of the cute smile of Keira Knightley, who played Joan Clarke.<\/p>\n The film tells about several life lines of Turing, which begin in 1939. This year, along with other specialists, he was brought in to decipher the messages of the Enigma machine, which the Nazis used to coordinate the actions of the fleet and aviation.<\/p>\n Then Alan was seized by real excitement. At midnight, the code word needed for decryption changed, so he had only 24 hours to solve the problem.<\/p>\n A year later, the mathematician drew attention to the weather information that was in the messages, and she helped create a tool to decipher them.<\/p>\n In 1943, Turing and his team also hacked a more sophisticated version of the Enigma and gained access to the full stream of German information that helped bring victory in the war a couple of years closer and save millions of lives. For this he was awarded the order.<\/p>\n In 1951, Alan took part in the creation of one of the first computers in the world. It was probably with him that Steve Jobs compared himself in 1976, when the Apple I entered the market.<\/p>\n Turing has been a gay believer for many years. At that time in Great Britain, many scientists and representatives of the high society of the country also shared it.<\/p>\n In most cases, society simply turned a blind eye to this. In order not to fall under the cruel ax of justice, then it was simply necessary not to tell everyone about their preferences, to hide their orientation.<\/p>\n In 1952, Alan's apartment was robbed by one of his lover's friends. In the course of their investigation, the police seized Turing's correspondence with a huge number of lovers over the past few years.<\/p>\n Of course, then everyone quickly forgot about the robber, and Great Britain watched the trial of Alan and did not believe that the brilliant scientist who changed the course of the bloody war in favor of the allies could be condemned only for his personal views.<\/p>\n But the judge was adamant. He offered Turing two sentences to choose from:<\/strong> chemical castration or 2 years in prison. Alan chose the first, and he was given a special injection that turned him into impotent for the rest of his life.<\/p>\n Turing was immediately dismissed from public service, he was banned from teaching at the university. The scientist at the moment lost both his good name and the means of subsistence.<\/p>\n Two years later, due to the lack of hormones on the body, the mathematician could already see the female breast, he was terribly complex, almost never left the house and eventually committed suicide by biting off an apple pumped with potassium cyanide. His body was found on June 8, 1954.<\/p>\n The good name of Alan Turing was returned after decades. The work on and in fact the creation of the first computer was quickly rewritten to Professor Norbert Wiener, and the unconventional mathematician was pushed into the background and consigned to oblivion.<\/p>\n Many believe that Steve Jobs also honored the scientist when he claimed the Apple logo in 1977.<\/p>\n The British government admitted its mistake in 2009. Country Minister Gordon Brown recognized Turing as the loudest victim of homophobia in history and asked for forgiveness from him posthumously. Jobs may have been 30 years ahead of him.<\/p>\n How it really was is unknown. There is one clue that both disproves the theory and makes it important. The manufacturer gives the same one-year warranty as for a new device (M).<\/p>\n Apple has several iPhone replacement programs. It can be exchanged under warranty or with a surcharge. These iPhones are also called replacement iPhones. And in this case, they should be distinguished from the replacement IPhone issued at the service center at the time of repairing your device under warranty. The court then satisfied the claim from Nokia, and ordered the Yabloko players to pay compensation.<\/p>\n While the two giants were suing, the light saw the line of gadgets from Samsung Galaxy, like two peas in a pod similar to the iPhone and iPad.
